FitPesa is committed to compliance with South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We use activity and step-count information to provide the FitPesa experience and calculate eligible rewards.
No background location tracking
FitPesa does not track or store background GPS location data. Any regional information used to display marketplace content is handled in accordance with our privacy practices.
Account & Data Deletion Policy
Users may request account and associated personal-data deletion by contacting fitpesa@fitpesa.org. Where there is no login history or platform activity for three consecutive months, health, telemetry and activity data is automatically and permanently purged, subject to lawful retention requirements.

FITP is a programmatically capped, in-app utility and loyalty reward point intended to provide local retail value. It is not a cryptocurrency or investment product.

PesaBoost is not a loan or credit product. FitPesa is not a bank, financial lender or loan provider.
Fair use and security
FitPesa may use telemetry and anti-abuse controls to protect users, partners and ecosystem liquidity. Attempts to manipulate step data, automate activity or abuse platform services may result in restrictions.

The ecosystem is capped at 80 billion programmable loyalty points.
